CPU Scaler Module (CSM)

The Calliope CPU Scaler Module (CSM) is a highly integrated application and video processor in credit card size format. A power-efficient Marvell CPU provides compute horsepower for applications, hardware video acceleration and DRM security. The companion Marvell dual-channel, video format conversion processor converts graphics and video input from the Marvell CPU into any standard output format up to 1080p HD. The second 1080p full 10-bit video input is available as a general purpose video source for powerful format conversion, overlay, picture-in-picture and scaling. CSM is ideal for displaying Internet content on a Computer or Home Theater display or for use as an intelligent high-quality video format conversion engine.
